Read the plate.
Verify the vehicle.

Edge-first ANPR reads the plate at the gate and checks it against the VAHAN national registry. A stolen or blacklisted vehicle alerts the guard before it reaches the gate, and the raw footage never leaves the property. This is the signal Atlas ships first.

Vehicles are the highest-signal traffic at any Indian gate. A plate read tells you who is arriving. A VAHAN check tells you whether the registration is real, insured, and clear.

Atlas runs the whole loop on the cameras already on the wall: motion-gated capture, plate read, registry check, audit log, and a WhatsApp alert to the guard.

What Atlas does
for vehicles.

01
Edge-first ANPR

Indian-plate recognition tuned for monsoon glare, headlight bloom, and night fog. Motion-gated and sharpest-of-burst, so it only reads a frame clear enough to trust.

02
VAHAN verification

Every plate is checked against the national vehicle registry (owner, make, and insurance status), and returning vehicles are recognised by their plate.

03
in the pipeline
Confidence-graded Re-ID

Atlas fuses the plate read with VAHAN make and entry pattern into one identity with a confidence score, so a cloned plate that doesn't match its vehicle alerts the guard.

04
Stolen & blacklist alerts

A flagged plate pings the guard's phone over WhatsApp within seconds of the read. As more gates join, a vehicle blacklisted at one site is known at the next.

05
Allow / deny / VIP lists

Resident and vendor lists live on the edge box. Edits are instant, with no cloud round-trip. A VIP plate is cleared at the gate before the car stops.

06
Access-controlled audit log

Every entry and exit is written to an access-controlled, encrypted audit log, searchable in seconds for a parking dispute, an FIR, or a DPDP audit.

// what the pilot proves

Built for the conditions, measured in the pilot.

The pilot protocol →
Built for · the Mumbai monsoon
Read accuracy that survives July rain.

Atlas is calibrated to a dedicated gate camera (1080p, 3–5 m back, 15–25° down) and picks the sharpest frame of each burst, so the read holds through rain streaks and sodium glare. The honest first-deployment bar is ≥90%, not a marketing 99%.

In the pipeline · plate cloning
A borrowed registration, caught by mismatch.

When a plate's confidence-graded identity (VAHAN make and entry pattern) doesn't match the vehicle wearing it, Atlas is designed to alert the guard instead of waving it through, logging the mismatch.
